Books and Photography

I have many interests, and I’ve begun exploring using services like lulu, blurb, and others to offer them for sale.

I try to keep my prices as low as possible for the work that I do. I’m also trying to make sure that I’m not competing against my ‘free’ services like my flickr photostream, or this blog.

I do this for fun, to learn, to grow, to communicate. I’m at the beginning of putting together this ‘portfolio’ of my hobbies and offering them in a more professional format. I expect to grow, and sometimes, make mistakes. Such is life.

I hope you find something of value to you below. Drop me a line and tell me what I’m doing right and wrong.

Books

I have one photography book for sale at blurb.com. I’m currently planning at least one more photography book, and a book of poetry. They will be listed here in the future.

Artists Welcome: Toronto in a Can of Paint

A photography book showcasing Toronto’s vibrant mural and graffitti scene. This book spans several years of taking pictures in Toronto’s downtown core. Mixing murals and smaller pieces from back alleys to billboards, Artists Welcome shows a side of Toronto many people don’t get to see.

60 pages, 108 interior and 9 cover photographs. Introduction.

Available in hardcover and softcover at blurb.com.

Prints

I’m currently using Imagekind to provide prints. This is experimental, as I’m still educating myself on the differences between digital display and the myriad of printing options available.

I’m currently making a very small amount of images available for sale. They are marked up 5% from the base price, so they are a steal. You can find my current offerings here:

I expect this to expand as I learn more. Prints from my film work will not be available until I have them scanned in high-resolution. As this is expensive, if you’d like any of my film shots as print, let me know.

You can definitely see your expertise in the work you write.
The arena hopes for more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to mention how
they believe. At all times follow your heart.
